At 2pm 15th July 2006 Cressbrook band led the procession at the start
of Great Longstone Church Fete. The band and the new
Fete Queen and her attendants proceeded the length of
Main Street to the village green, where Megan was crowned.
The Queen and the band then went up to the school where Megan
proclaimed the church fete open.

Today 7th JulyThe temperature drop a little so I decided to walk from the village along the paths up to Longstone Edge. As you can see from the pictures the paths were very over grown, after fighting my way through stinging nettles the walk and the view were well worth it.
